Kasaana-Mubende, Uganda – Bishop Bagonza Charles, Overseer of Pentecostal Churches of Uganda, has urged believers to trust in God’s power and sovereignty in all circumstances.
During a recent visit to PCU youKasaana-Mubende, Bishop Bagonza preached on the theme “The Flood Stopper: When God Says Enough,” citing Exodus 14:1-16 and the story of Moses leading Israelites out of Egypt.
He emphasized that God is a flood stopper, capable of calming life’s turbulent situations and stopping enemies without human intervention. “When God says enough, the enemy can come like a flood, but he cannot have the final say,” he said.
Bishop Bagonza encouraged believers to remain faithful, worship God in the midst of storms, and trust that suffering has an expiry date when God is involved.

He cited the example of Paul and Silus, who worshipped God even in prison, saying, “Worship invites God into your situation.”
The Overseer assured believers that one word from God can silence life’s challenges and urged them to refuse to quit, saying, “The flood is temporary, but God is eternal.”
