Reports have it that Link bus (REG No. UBG 040H) driver has died en route to Kasese. According to passengers as quoted by several reports, the driver parked aside before he died immediately.
”Passengers onboard reported that the driver, destined for Fort Portal, made a courageous decision to halt the bus at a safe location before succumbing to an unknown cause. Social media has been buzzing with a video capturing the poignant moment when the link bus driver valiantly prioritized the safety of his passengers,” reported Uganda’s site Blizz.
Amidst the uncertainties surrounding the driver’s sudden passing, a photo of him and the bus has circulated on social media platforms, acting as an informal means to inform his family and friends about the tragic event.
On there other end however, some reports claim that the driver didn’t die, that he was just sick and decided to park the bus on the side of the road where another company driver came and rescued him.
The two narratives can not be confirmed by this site until the management of Link Bus Company breaks the silence about this shocking incident.
