Mubende, Uganda – In a heartwarming display of community spirit, Nva Mubende Family, a philanthropic group born out of the annual Nva Mubende Festival, surprised senior four candidates in Mubende district with success cards and pens ahead of their final exams.
With exams set to commence on Monday next week, the group’s visit aimed to boost the students’ morale and motivation.
Mubende Family, founded by Sureman Ssegawa, has a mission of giving back to the community through various activities.
This month, the group focused on inspiring senior four candidates through motivational speeches, success cards, and pens.
Members of the group, comprising businessmen, women, and radio presenters, shared words of encouragement with students from three schools: Kitenga Secondary School in Kyenda Town Council, which has 90 senior four candidates, Mt. Zion Secondary School in Kalonga Town Council with 226 candidates, and Mubende Army in South Division, Mubende Municipal, which has 260 senior four candidates.
The students, visibly inspired by the gestures, pledged to work hard and achieve excellent results.
