    Mukono District, Uganda –

Joseph Wafula, a 35-year-old man, was killed by an angry mob in Nama Village, Namawojjolo Parish, after he allegedly beheaded his two-year-old nephew, Jordan Kiganga.

Jordan’s mother had sent him to live with his grandmother in Nama Village while she worked abroad.

Wafula, Jordan’s uncle, had visited his mother’s family and was temporarily staying with them.

On Monday, Jordan’s grandmother left for work, leaving Wafula in charge of the child.

At around 1:00 pm, a neighbor brought clothes to the residence. As she removed the curtain in the doorway, she discovered Jordan’s lifeless body with its head severed.

The neighbor immediately alerted the community, who quickly apprehended Wafula.

However, before police arrived to take custody, the mob lynched him.

Police have since arrived at the scene and taken both bodies for post-mortem examination.

Investigations are underway to determine the motive behind the heinous crime.

This story is developing, and further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
