Excitement is building in Mubende District as Buwekula Ssaza FC prepares to present the prestigious Masaza Cup trophy for another public viewing during the highly anticipated NVA Mubende Festival on December 6.

Following their strong performance and growing fanbase, Buwekula’s leadership says the decision to bring the trophy back for public viewing is a gesture of appreciation to the community whose support has fueled the team throughout the season.
The showcase is expected to attract thousands of fans, football enthusiasts, and local leaders eager to celebrate the squad’s achievements.
This was reached at during The Awards Dinner for Buwekula that was held on 22nd November 2025 at Joyce hotel Mubende.

Festival organizers praised the partnership, noting that hosting the trophy adds prestige to this year’s event.
“This viewing is more than just a celebration of football; it’s a unifying moment for the people of Mubende,” Sureman said. “We are proud to host Buwekula Ssaza FC and give the public another chance to interact with this symbol of sporting excellence.”
The trophy will be displayed at the festival grounds at kasaana, accompanied by appearances from team officials, invited players.
Fans will have opportunities for photos, meet-and-greet moments, and special presentations highlighting Buwekula’s journey in the Masaza Cup.
The ssaza also invites everyone to Come and Attend Nva Mubende festival on 6-December to see their trophy With music, food stalls, and entertainment scheduled throughout the day, the NVA Mubende Festival is expected to be one of the district’s largest celebrations this year.
Residents are encouraged to arrive early, as large crowds are anticipated for the trophy viewing segment.
