A prayer ceremony was held in Kibuli to honor President Museveni, organized by children of FRONASA fighters and led by top Muslim sheikhs.
The event brought together government officials, NRM leaders, and families of FRONASA fighters to celebrate unity, gratitude, and remembrance.
Speakers, including Ambassador Ahmed Kisule, praised President Museveni’s long-standing support for the community, particularly orphans, and urged Muslims to appreciate his contributions and work towards unity and strengthening their faith.
President Museveni, who has been in power since 1986, is seeking re-election for a seventh term next year.
His leadership has been marked by stability and development, but also criticism of human rights and democratic backsliding.
