Kampala, Uganda – In a bold move, Wycliff Kasaija, a 23-year-old finalist at Kampala International University (KIU), has thrown his hat into the ring, declaring his intention to run for President of Uganda in the 2026 General Election.
Kasaija, who is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, aims to challenge the status quo and bring about change, seeking to end President Museveni’s nearly four-decade rule.
Kasaija’s campaign promises to focus on good governance, inclusive prosperity, sustainable innovation, and youth empowerment.
He plans to implement policies that restore hope among the younger generation, a demographic that constitutes a significant portion of Uganda’s population.
