A devastating accident has occurred this evening on the Mubende-Fort Portal road at Biwanga village, West division, Mubende municipality, Mubende district, claiming the lives of 15 people.
A PokoPoko company bus, registration number UBR 796N, was involved in the incident after one of its front tyres burst.
According to eyewitnesses, multiple people were rushed to Mubende Regional Referral Hospital in critical condition.
The bodies of the deceased are still trapped under the bus, and police are currently on the scene, struggling to recover them.
