A shocking incident of mob justice has unfolded in Kalagala village, Kassanda district, leaving a 40-year-old man severely injured.
Ssengima Bosco, a casual worker and resident of Katikandegeya LC1, Kijuna sub-county, was caught stealing coffee cherries from a plantation owned by Luboyera.
In a horrific turn of events, the mob that apprehended Bosco cut off both his hands using pangas. The victim is currently receiving treatment at Kassanda HCIV.

However, it has been alleged that Bosco had been caught stealing coffee from the same plantation on multiple occasions.
The police have condemned the act of mob justice and are working to apprehend the suspects.
“We strongly condemn acts of mob justice, which are illegal and can lead to further violence,” said SP Kawala Rachael, Police Spokesperson for the Wamala region.
The police are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward and assist in the investigation.
