Mityana Territorial Police have arrested three suspects in connection with an aggravated robbery case that occurred on August 3, 2024, in Mizigo Cell, Central Division, Mityana District.
The suspects, identified as Kyagulanyi David, Ssebutinde John Bosco, and Makumbi Geoffrey, all residents of Kinvunikide, Mityana District, were arrested on September 24, 2024, through intelligence-led operations.
They confessed to robbing Shema Samuel, a 27-year-old businessman, of his two mobile phones(Iphone XS max, Samsung galaxy S10 plus), and money worth 35 million shillings.
The suspects used the stolen money to buy motorcycles, new clothes, and shoes.
Exhibits recovered include:
Two motorcycles (Reg no. UFW 866V Bajaj boxer and Reg no. UFS 346Z Bajaj boxer), New clothes,Tools used in executing robberies (hammer, pliers, torches, desert shoes, gumboot, and hooded jumpers).

The case file has been compiled and is pending submission to the Resident State Attorney for possible sanctioning.
