President William Ruto of Kenya has announced plans to strengthen Kenya’s relations with Ghana, expanding trade and investment opportunities in key sectors such as agriculture, mining, tourism, oil, and gas.
This move aims to broaden opportunities for citizens of both countries and sustain shared prosperity.
During a recent meeting with Ghana’s President-elect Mahama, President Ruto discussed the expansion of intra-African trade under the African Continental Free Trade Area.

The two leaders also expressed gratitude for Mahama’s support of Raila Odinga’s candidature for African Union Commission Chairperson.
President Ruto has confirmed his attendance at Mahama’s swearing-in ceremony in Accra next month.
The meeting was also attended by Raila Odinga, the AUC Chair candidate, in Kilgoris, Narok County.
