Kalamba, Kasanda District – In a disturbing incident of mob justice, two men, Kennedy and Kapeeka, were brutally murdered on Thursday, October 3, 2024.
The victims were accused of stealing a Bajaj Boxer motorcycle.
According to Rachel Kawala, Police Spokesperson for the Wamala Region, the incident occurred when a mob confronted the suspects, leading to their fatal assault.
“Police from Kasanda have collected the bodies and taken them to Kasanda Hospital for post-mortem examination,” Kawala said. “Investigations are ongoing.”
Ironically, the alleged stolen motorcycle has not been recovered, casting doubts on the accuracy of the accusations.
The police condemn mob justice and urge the public to report suspected crimes to the authorities.
