Ugandan Businessman and Property Mogul, Dr Sudhir Ruparelia’s son Rajiv Ruparelia has been inducted and recognized among Choiseul 100 Africa’s top young African entrepreneurs and economic leaders for the year 2024.
The Choiseul 100 Africa is an annual independent ranking conducted by the Choiseul Institute. It identifies young African leaders aged 40 and under who play a major role in the continent’s economic development.
The recognition comes at the time Choiseul 100 Africa is marking a historic turning point for the Institut Choiseulas as it proudly celebrates the tenth anniversary of the publication of the Choiseul 100 Africa ranking recognizing young African Business leaders under the age of 40.
Rajiv, the Managing Director of Ruparelia Group, Uganda’s largest conglomerate owned by tycoon Sudhir was the only Ugandan to make way into Choiseul 100 Africa 2024 ranking, a significant recognition for his commitment and dedication to the growth of the group.
Via his x handle, Rajiv announced the good news saying, “I am deeply honored to be selected as one of the leaders in Africa in the #Choiseul100Africa 2024, recognizing individuals who are poised to contribute significantly to the continent’s development and global influence,” he added;
“Being the only Ugandan to receive this recognition is a privilege I deeply cherish. This achievement would not have been possible without the unwavering support of my family, and the incredible team at Ruparelia Group.”
In the same spirit, Sudhir also took to his socials to celebrate his son saying; “I couldn’t be prouder to congratulate Rajiv on being recognized in the #Choiseul100Africa 2024,” he added that Rajiv’s hard work, vision, and dedication to excellence have truly set him apart.
“His contributions to Ruparelia Group have been remarkable, as he has consistently brought innovative ideas and strategies that have propelled the company to new heights. His leadership has played a vital role in shaping our companies’ success and expanding its influence within Uganda and beyond,” Sudhir remarked.
