NTC Playgrounds, Buwekula- Buwekula Saza team, dubbed “The Unstoppable,” has maintained its unbeaten record in the Masaza tournament, defeating Gomba Saza team 2:0 in a thrilling match at their home grounds.
This victory marks Buwekula’s sixth consecutive unbeaten match, solidifying their position in the Muganzirwaza group. Currently, Buwekula ranks second with 12 points.
Coach Sekabuuza Felix, the mastermind behind Buwekula’s success, emphasized that the team’s target is to win the championship, not just advance beyond the group stages. “This is just the beginning,” he said.
Buwekula’s goals were scored by Kalema Jimmy and Mukiibi Sharafa, showcasing the team’s impressive skill and teamwork.
The players are working tirelessly to ensure that Buwekula Saza team is crowned champion this year.
In other matches played on Saturday, August 10th, 2024, Kabula defeated Ssese 3:1, while Busiro edged out Buvuma with a narrow 1:0 win.

- Buluuli drew 1:1 with Bugerere
- Kkooki won 1:0 against Kyaggwe
- Bulemeezi drew 1:1 with Buddu
- Ssingo won 1:0 against Mawogola

- Buwekula won 2:0 against Gomba
- Kyaddondo drew 1:1 with Butambala
The team’s next match is scheduled for August 18, 2024, against Mawogola, a team they previously defeated 3:0 in the first leg.
