Deadan Mubangizi, an aspiring Member of Parliament for Buwekula South in Mubende district, has once again demonstrated his commitment to giving back to his community.

His latest philanthropic effort involves donating 82 iron sheets to the Jerusalem Community Church in Kivera, Kayebe parish, Kayebe sub-county.

This generous donation is only the latest in a series of goodwill initiatives by Mubangizi, who has been tirelessly working to improve the lives of those in his community.

Previously, he renovated the Kibyamirizi playgrounds, purchased an ambulance for the community, and organized a medical camp that provided free medication to over 10,000 people.

Additionally, he raised 100 million shillings to construct St. Mark Secondary School in his community.

Through his foundation, the Deadan Foundation, Mubangizi has consistently demonstrated his dedication to supporting his community.

The church elders, who were deeply grateful for his generosity, thanked him and quoted scripture from Acts 20:32-35, saying “You yourselves know that these hands of mine have supplied my own needs and the needs of my companions. In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.'”

They expressed their hopes that the iron sheets would provide adequate shelter for their worship, prayers, and praise.

Mubangizi’s selfless actions have earned him the admiration and support of his community, with many praying for his success in the upcoming elections, both in the NRM primaries this year and the general elections next year.

In his own words, Mubangizi emphasized the importance of loving one’s community, citing Matthew 22:37-39, which states “Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’

This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.'”

Mubangizi then assured his community that if they trusted him with their vote, he would not disappoint them, saying “trust me with your vote, you will not regret. I am a man of my word. When I say service first, indeed you have witnessed it.”
