Deadan Mubangizi, the aspiring MP for Buwekula South, has made a significant contribution to the Nva Mubende charity run by purchasing running kits worth 500,000 Ugandan shillings.
This generous donation has boosted the festival, which has been gaining popularity as the days go by, with many community members coming out to support it.
As the “Service First” slogan man, Mubangizi has demonstrated his commitment to serving the Buwekula South constituency, ahead of the 2026 general elections.

His purchase of running kits, each valued at 20,000 Ugandan shillings, will go a long way in supporting the charity run, which aims to raise funds for various community development projects.
Furthermore, Mubangizi has promised to provide the ambulance he acquired for the community to support the charity run, which is scheduled to take place on January 18.
This ambulance will be instrumental in providing medical assistance during the event, ensuring the safety and well-being of participants.
The Nva Mubende festival, which celebrates the rich cultural heritage of Mubende, has become a highly anticipated event in the region.
