Kampala, Uganda – In a shocking incident, Byaruhanga Kassim was arrested by Naggalama Police on December 7, 2024, for impersonating a Commissioner of Police and an intelligence officer of the army.

According to police reports, the impersonation attempt began on July 24, 2024, when the Division Police Commander (DPC) of Naggalama police division received a phone call from an individual claiming to be Commissioner of Police Tumusiime.

The impersonator informed the DPC about an alleged auctioning exercise of motor vehicles at the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA).
