Kampala, Uganda – President Yoweri Museveni has released a new list of Resident District Commissioners (RDCs) following a recent reshuffle.
The changes, aimed at enhancing governance and improving service delivery, affect RDCs across the country.
The full list, released by the Office of the President, includes new appointments, transfers, and reappointments of RDCs. The changes take effect immediately, with the new RDCs expected to assume their duties promptly.
According to a statement from the Presidential Press Unit, the reshuffle is part of President Museveni’s efforts to ensure effective administration and implementation of government programs at the district level.
The RDCs are expected to play a crucial role in maintaining security, coordinating development programs, and implementing national policies in their respective districts.
