Kampala District Female Member of Parliament, Honorable Shamim Malende, is currently recuperating at Nsambya Hospital, according to Former MP Aspirant Musiri David. David revealed that he visited Malende at the hospital and was pleased to see an improvement in her condition.
Malende has been hospitalized for several weeks, although the exact nature of her illness has not been disclosed.
She had taken to her social media platforms to announce her hospitalization, seeking prayers and well wishes from her supporters.
Musiri David took to X, formerly Twitter, to update the public on Malende’s health, saying “Yesterday evening we passed by @NsambyaHospital to check on hon Shamim Malende. Glory be to Allah for the improvement. Quick recovery hon.”
This is not Malende’s first hospitalization, as she has been rushed to hospital on several occasions in the past, including being treated for abdominal complications in the Intensive Care Unit at Agha Khan Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya.
