Kampala, Uganda – Denis Barigye, a seasoned sports journalist with 11 years of experience, has joined 102.3 Heart FM as a sports analyst and commentator, effective 2026.
Barigye began his radio career in 2014 at 101.1 Mbabule FM Radio in Ssembabule District before moving to 106.0 Mubende FM Radio in 2015, where he worked for 10 years presenting and reporting sports news, with a focus on marathon events.
In a statement, Programs Director Lule Maurice unveiled Barigye to the team, saying, “I am pleased to officially unveil our newest signing to the Sports Department. Please join me in welcoming Dennis Chris Barigye to 102 Heart FM.”
Maurice added, “Dennis joins us with great passion for sports broadcasting and a strong commitment to teamwork and excellence. We are confident that his contribution will strengthen our sports programming and add value to our listeners.”
Barigye expressed his eagerness to apply his analytical prowess and prediction skills in a new environment, seeking opportunities for professional growth and to leverage his expertise in a different market landscape.
