President Ibrahim Traore has handed over 15 mobile clinics and cold chain equipment to improve healthcare access for all citizens in Burkina Faso.
During the handover ceremony, President Traore urged the medical fraternity and citizens to utilize these resources to strengthen the nation’s health system.
In a show of support, thousands of people rallied in the capital city of Ouagadougou and other cities worldwide yesterday to express their solidarity with President Traoré.
The rallies were sparked by recent remarks made by General Michaël Langley, the head of the United States’ military in Africa, who accused President Traoré of exploiting the country’s mining resources for the benefit of the junta regime rather than the people.
The citizens vehemently rejected these claims, calling them a total lie.
Amazingly, still in Africa, Uganda’s Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja recently launched the Tukutuku ambulance, aimed at enhancing the country’s healthcare services.
