Mubende, Uganda – In a remarkable display of community spirit, hundreds of residents turned out for the Nva Mubende charity run, held earlier today.
The event, which preceded the Nva Mubende festival scheduled for this evening, aimed to raise funds to support pregnant mothers in the region.
The charity run, led by renowned athlete Golola Moses, saw participants donning specially designed running kits, priced at 20,000 Uganda shillings.
These kits also served as tickets to the Nva Mubende festival, providing a unique incentive for participants.
The event was a resounding success, with a large number of community members turning out to support the noble cause.
The funds raised from the charity run will be used to purchase mother kits, which will be distributed to hospitals in Mubende.
Following the event, Ismael Ssegawa, well-known as Sureman Ssegawa, the vision bearer of the Nva Mubende initiative, took to the stage to express his heartfelt gratitude to all who participated in the charity run.
He thanked everyone who turned up to support the cause, acknowledging their contributions to the success of the event.
By coming together to support this cause, the people of Mubende have demonstrated their compassion and dedication to making a positive impact.
