A team of National Unity Platform (NUP) School of Leadership alumni, led by Hon. Andrew Kiiza Kaliyah, Secretary for Mobilization in the Eastern Region, recently embarked on a mission to engage with leaders and party members in Mbale District, Bugisu Subregion.

The team, driven by the President’s initiative of “Each One Teach One,” aimed to promote party values, ideology, governance, civil rights, and the party’s pro-people manifesto.

NUP, known for its commitment to social justice and people’s welfare, has been gaining momentum across the country.

The party’s grassroots approach and inclusive policies have resonated with many Ugandans seeking positive change.

Through its mobilization efforts, NUP continues to build a strong network of supporters who share the party’s vision for a more equitable society.

During their visit to Mbale District, the NUP team interacted with local leaders and party members, discussing key issues affecting the community and ways to address them.

The team’s message of hope and change struck a chord with the audience, who expressed their enthusiasm for NUP’s progressive agenda.

The event also witnessed a significant influx of new members, with over 20 individuals from other parties defecting to NUP.

These new members were drawn to the party’s commitment to people’s welfare and its track record of advocating for the rights of marginalized communities.

The defectors expressed their confidence in NUP’s leadership and its ability to bring about meaningful change in the country.

Hon. Andrew Kiiza Kaliyah emphasized the importance of grassroots mobilization in achieving the party’s objectives.

“We are committed to building a strong and inclusive movement that represents the aspirations of all Ugandans,” he said. “Our message of hope and change is resonating with people from all walks of life, and we are confident that we can make a difference.”

The NUP team’s engagement in Mbale District is part of the party’s broader strategy to strengthen its presence in the region and build a robust support base.

As the party continues to grow and expand its reach, it remains committed to its core values of justice, equality, and people’s welfare.
