Kampala, Uganda – Musician Patrick Mulwana, popularly known as Alien Skin, has been granted bail after being remanded on charges of theft and assault.

Mulwana, along with his private bodyguard Julius Mugabi, were accused of stealing an iPhone 15 Pro and Shs480,000, as well as assaulting three staff members at Nsambya hospital.

The bail decision was made by Grade One Magistrate Esther Adikin of Makindye Grade One Magistrates Court, who granted Mulwana a cash bail of Shs1 million, while each of his sureties was bonded at Shs5 million non-cash.

Mugabi, who is also accused of committing the offences alongside Mulwana, was also released on bail.

Mulwana and Mugabi are expected to return to court on January 13, 2025, for further proceedings.
