Mubende, Uganda – As the country gears up for the 2026 general elections, Heart FM 102.3 FM has organized a parliamentary debate for aspiring MPs of Mubende Municipality.
The debate, scheduled for December 14th, 2025, at the Heart FM Studios, will feature four candidates: Masembe Deo Mujabu (NRM), Sumayah Nabawanuka (NUP), Akankwasa Ramadhan (Independent), and incumbent Lubega Bashir Ssempa (Independent).
The debate, set to air live on Sunday from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM, aims to provide voters with an opportunity to hear directly from the candidates and understand their vision for Mubende Municipality.
Heart FM Programs Director, Maurice Lule, emphasized the importance of the debate, stating, “This is a chance for voters to assess the candidates and make informed decisions in the upcoming elections.”
