– With the Masaza Cup 2025 just around the corner, football fans in the Buganda region are eagerly anticipating the highly competitive tournament, organized by the Kabaka of Buganda, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II.
The tournament aims to promote football talents within the kingdom and has proven to be a launching pad for many players to join big clubs in Uganda and abroad.
The tournament features teams from various regions that make up the Buganda kingdom, including Buwekula, Mawokoota, Kyadondo, Buvuuma, Bulemeezi, and Bugerere, among others.

In the Masengere Group, Buwekula Saza team will face off against , Bulemeezi Saza team, alongside Mawokoota FC, Kyadondo FC, Buvuuma FC, and Bugerere FC.
The Masaza Cup has a rich history of identifying and nurturing football talent in the region.
Many players who have showcased their skills in the tournament have gone on to join top clubs in Uganda and abroad, making it a valuable platform for players to showcase their abilities.
