Team Khalayi Peace the aspiring candidate for Namisindwa District Woman seat in collaboration with the Councillors of Bumbo Town Council and VHTS , organized a community clean up for Bumbo Town Council in Namisindwa District.
Bumbo town council being one of the biggest town councils in the district is a centre for business selling food items such as onions that are transported to Tanzania,Rwanda among others.
Despite the town council being a major business centre,there are few challenges that need to be rectified for example the roads and hygiene.
The team decided to begin with cleaning of the Town council because of poor hygienic conditions which has highly affected the residents of the area.
Team members thanked the community for volunteering to clean the Town council And we hope to do more of these clean ups in the other Town councils of the District Khalayi Peace Woman MP to be Namisindwa District.
