The search for two stolen children in Mityana municipality has yielded a positive result, with one child being recovered and a suspect arrested.

Amba Nabisere, a two-day-old baby who was separated from her mother at Mityana General Hospital, was recovered in Myanzi.
The suspect, identified as Nakayenga Madrine, was found in possession of the baby and has been apprehended.
Amba is in good health and has been reunited with her mother, Faith Ndiyomufasha, a resident of Ssekanyonyi in Kalangaalo, Mityana District.

SSP Lameck Kigozi, Police Spokesperson for Wamala Region, has confirmed this information, praising the community for their support and cooperation in the investigation.
The community is thanked for their support and information, which led to the successful recovery of the child.
However, the search continues for Nassuuna Blessing, a three-month-old baby daughter of Nantume Prossy who was stolen on the same day from Kittinkokola village, Mityana municipality.
Police urges anyone with information on Nassuuna’s whereabouts to come forward.
The authorities are working tirelessly to reunite Nassuuna with her family, and every lead is being pursued.
The recovery of Amba brings hope that Nassuuna will also be found soon.
