Security agencies have successfully recovered six-year-old Mpirwe Tumwesigye, who was allegedly kidnapped on December 12, 2025, by a shamba boy, Muchunguzi David, employed by the child’s father, Dr. Tumwesigye Emmanuel.
The child was found in Busukuma, Nansana municipality, Wakiso district, on December 19, 2025, at approximately 9:30 a.m.
According to preliminary investigations, Muchunguzi David left with the victim in the afternoon of December 12 and failed to return.
A case of kidnapping was reported at Universal Police Post, prompting immediate search operations. Security agencies tracked the suspect’s TikTok videos, leading to the victim’s recovery.
Efforts are ongoing to apprehend the suspect. The child will be handed over to his parents after a medical examination.
