Kampala, Uganda – Tragic news has struck the National Unity Platform (NUP) as its Deputy President for the Western Region, Kyomugasho Jolly Mugisha, has passed away after a battle with illness.
NUP President Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu (Bobi Wine) announced the sorrowful news on his social media platforms, confirming Mrs. Mugisha’s demise at Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital.
Mrs. Mugisha was a dedicated leader, serving alongside Mathias Mpuuga (Central Region) who was suspended, Dr. Lina Zedriga (Northern Uganda), and John Baptist Nambeshe (Eastern Uganda). Her tireless efforts and commitment to the party will be deeply missed.
