Kampala: City Tycoon Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia has renamed his recently acquired Lotis Towers after his granddaughter Arie (daughter to Sheena Ruparelia) following its acquisition through a public auction by dfcu Bank.

After officially acquiring the multibillion building, Dr Sudhir on May 2, 2024 informed all tenants of the new arrangements, instructing them to submit signed tenancy agreements and proof of payment to regularize their contracts with the new landlords noting that rent and arrears payments will now be made through the bank, with no cash payments allowed.

With the new name, Arie Towers, Sudhir aims to reposition the building as a hub for business and commerce, offering luxury office space for companies and organizations operating in the city.

The multibillion building, located at Plot 16 MacKinnon Road, Nakasero houses prominent firms such as Cairo Bank, British American Tobacco, the Judicial Service Commission, and the Democratic Governance Facility-DGF.

Arie Towers now joins Ruparelia’s long list of commercial buildings in Kampala including, Kingdom Kampala, The Cube, Kampala Boulevard, Electrical Plaza, Market Plaza, Hardware City, Crane Chambers, Gender and Labour House among others.
