In a shocking turn of events, Catholic Priest Fr. Dominic Alinga has been arrested for the brutal stabbing of Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) worker, John Bosco.
The incident occurred after Bosco demanded repayment of a loan amounting to 11 million Ugandan Shillings.
According to preliminary investigations, Fr. Dominic had borrowed a significant amount of money from Bosco and when the latter requested repayment, the priest resorted to violence.
An audio message circulating on WhatsApp groups reveals that Fr. Dominic arranged to meet Bosco to finalize some transactions, but instead attacked him with a sharp machete near the UN Base in Entebbe.
Bosco succumbed to his injuries at Entebbe Grade B hospital due to severe knife wounds.
The community has rallied to support Bosco’s family, with many members actively involved in the aftermath. Fr. Dominic was apprehended after being on the run and is being transported to Kampala for further legal proceedings.
The URA fraternity remains united in their grief, with members offering support to Bosco’s family.
