Mubende, Uganda – Deadan Mubangizi, aspiring Member of Parliament for Buwekula South Constituency, has thrown down the gauntlet to the incumbent MP as he provided relief to communities affected by recent heavy rains.

Residents of Kyenda Town Council in Buwekula South Constituency, Mubende District, were left reeling after torrential rains destroyed their crops, leaving them facing food insecurity.

Mubangizi, a member of the National Resistance Movement (NRM), swiftly responded to the crisis by donating 100 bags of posho (maize flour) to the affected families in Lugala, Namirembe, Kirangwa Ward, Lugala, and Kinoni villages.

“This is not just a gesture, but a demonstration of my commitment to serving the people of Buwekula South Constituency,” Mubangizi said through his PR. “I promise to prioritize the needs of our community.”

Mubangizi’s “Service First” slogan has resonated with local residents, who have praised his timely intervention.

Community has expressed gratitude for Mubangizi’s assistance and pledged to support his candidacy in the upcoming 2026 general elections.
