Mubende, Uganda – November 23, 2024, marked a significant milestone for Ebenezer Healing Temple International Ministries as it celebrated its 11th anniversary.
The church, pastored by Charles Kisakye, has come a long way since its humble beginnings in 2013.
Pastor Kisakye, who is also the owner of 102.3 Heart FM radio, started his ministry under the leadership of Bishop Fred Magango at the Pentecostal Churches of Uganda.
However, in 2013, he felt the call to start his own ministry, Ebenezer Healing Temple International Ministries, in Mubende town.
The church, which began with less than 30 members, has grown exponentially over the years.
Today, it boasts a large auditorium that can accommodate over 1,000 members and has four church branches across Mubende district and surrounding areas.
The church’s impressive two-story building is a testament to its growth and success.
To commemorate its 11th anniversary, the church held a thanksgiving service on Saturday, November 23, 2024.
The service, which was attended by Mubende political figures, including Hon. Hope Grania Nakazibwe, the incumbent Woman MP for Mubende district, and aspiring Mubende district chairperson Kyeyune Pafuladiito, was a time of praise, worship, and reflection.
Standing on the scripture of 1 Samuel 7:12, the congregation thanked God for His faithfulness and blessings over the past 11 years.
The thanksgiving service was marked by physical acts of thanksgiving, including monetary offerings, and concluded with a feast.
As Ebenezer Healing Temple International Ministries looks to the future, it remains committed to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and serving the community.
Pastor Charles Kisakye and his wife, Justine Kisakye, continue to lead the congregation with dedication and passion, inspiring countless lives through their ministry.
