‘NRM IS MY PARTY, PLU IS MY HOME’: Deadan Mubangizi’s Vision for Selfless Leadership in Buwekula South

Mubende, Uganda – Deadan Mubangizi, the aspiring Member of Parliament for Buwekula South constituency in Mubende district, has reaffirmed his commitment to serving his community, stating that “service comes first” and not personal privileges.

Mubangizi, who is vying for the National Resistance Movement (NRM) party ticket in the 2025 primaries, has already demonstrated his dedication to the community through various initiatives, including donating an ambulance, sponsoring a free medical camp that treated over 10,000 people, and launching a borehole project to provide clean water to 9 villages.

The aspiring MP, who is also a proud member of the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) movement, which aims to inspire youth to love and serve their country, has bolstered his credentials with an impressive academic achievement, graduating in 2023 with a Master’s degree in Business Administration, majoring in Leadership and Sustainability, from the University of Cumbria in the UK.

If successful in the NRM primaries, Mubangizi will represent the party in the 2026 general elections.

His approach has resonated with the community, who are eager to see him on the ballot.

Mubangizi’s commitment to service above privilege has set him apart in the debate on the quality of legislators in Uganda.

As the country gears up for elections, his dedication to his community and impressive track record make him a strong contender for the Buwekula South constituency seat.
