In a strategic move, President Yoweri Museveni has reshuffled Resident District Commissioners (RDCs) across the country, just a year before the start of campaigns for the 2026 general elections.
The Presidential Press Unit (PPU) alerted media outlets to be on standby for the announcement, which is seen as a bid to bolster the government’s presence and influence at the grassroots level.
